Rock of Cashel
Rock of Cashel, Cashel (IRL)
At the Rock of Cashel, visitors wander through medieval ruins, exposed to the elements. A guide unlocks the ancient tales of power, faith, and myths. But what if you visit the site without a guide?

From Kingdom to Diocese
In the 4th century, the first king set up his seat of power in Cashel, marking the beginning of the Rock of Cashel’s story. Or did it begin even earlier, when the Devil took a bite out of the mountain, creating the Rock? For centuries, this place has attracted both famous and lesser-known visitors, shaping history and legends alike. The legacy of kings and archbishops lives on in the medieval ruins that can still be admired today. But without a guide, these stories remain hidden.
